SIMPLY REFRESHING FRESH FRUIT PLATTER

As the summer months get into full swing, or you’re hosting an event, no matter what the time of day, a fresh fruit platter is an easy item to put together.

YIELDS: 4-6 Servings

INGREDIENTS:

Fresh Blueberries ( not pictured)

Fresh Strawberries

Fresh Raspberries

Cherries ( seasonal & DELICIOUS)

Grapes ( Green & Purple)

Fig Leaves ( easily added; not pictured)

Pineapple ( cut lengthwise, core removed & cut crosswise)

Apple ( cut lengthwise, core removed & cut crosswise)

Watermelon ( Cut into pizza slices)

Cantaloupe ( long & easily cubed)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Depending on the shape of the board you are using start by place the larger items with space to spare in-between. ( Pineapple, Cantaloupe, & Watermelon.)
  2. Then take your medium items & place them in between the larger items. ( Apple, Grapes, Strawberries)
  3. Space on the board should be less & less; no fill in the odds & ends with the blueberries, raspberries, cherries and fig leaves (not necessary).
  4. If this is for a bigger party double and triple the amount of fruit, repeat process with a larger board!
