Creating a party atmosphere isn’t always a guarantee, as who knows what mood people will show up in. A sure fire way to get the party started is with a delicious Margarita! One of my personal favorites, Margarita’s are a great drink to add to any party menu AND they are super easy to make. ( Remember 3, 2, 1… you’ll see in a minute)
Personally I am all about self-service, taking the grunt work away from having to have one person be bar tender when everyone can enjoy at the same time. Setting up this Margarita Bar takes less then 20 minutes, and most of that set up is actually just mixing the margarita for the 2 gallon container, cutting lime wedges & salting the cups. FYI, I did salt my cups, but it is definitely NOT necessary as not everyone likes as much salt as others.
KEEP IT SIMPLE. This drink is literally as simple as it gets for mixed drinks and happens to be a party favorite!!!
To create a delicious Margarita you need 4 simple ingredients:
Good Tequila ( Patron; Silver is smoother)
Fresh Lime Juice
Splash of Triple Sec
HML MARGARITA RECIPE:( it’s the 3,2,1 rule here)
3 ounces Tequila, Chilled
2 ounces, Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice or bottled Lime Juice ( Don’t do the Limeade thing, it’s NOT the same).
1 ounce Simple Syrup, Chilled 1 part sugar and 1 part water
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
My container is a 2 gallon jar, that will roughly serve 15-20 margarita’s .
