RECIPE PUMPKIN SPICE HOT WHITE CHOCOLATE


 

 

If you like Pumpkin Pie…then this is the drink for you this holiday season! In the HML household pumpkin ANYTHING isn’t just a fall favorite, it also happens to be a way of life during the holiday season October-January 1! This is a delicious recipe to add to your “NEED TO ” make list this holiday season, you can thank me later. 
  
 

INGREDIENTS: ( Serves 3-4 )


  • 3 cups whole milk

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/2-1 tsp of ground cloves

  • pinch of kosher sea salt ( not necessary; if you want to cut salt)

  • 4 ounces white chocolate (HML used Ghiradelli morsels; can also shred the white 

    chocolate bar).

 
DIRECTIONS:

         1.Using a small sauce pan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin puree , pumpkin spice & ground cloves. Cook, stirring constantly, until just simmering.

         2. Remove from heat and add chocolate ( reserve some chocolate for garnish). Stir in the chocolate until fully melted. 

         3.Right before serving, add a generous amount of whipped cream, a few morsels of the white chocolate and a sprinkle of the spices to top it off!

         4.Serve immediately.
