The party officially begins at 7 p.m. inside Magic Kingdom. The HML Family arrived at 5:00pm, but historically Disney Halloween party guests are allowed entry, starting at 4:00pm. Getting in early is highly recommended to get acquainted with the layout of the park and figure out what to do first. This HML recommends going straight to the new Seven Dwarfs ride near the Winnie-the-Pooh Ride. Once the Halloween party starts at 7:00pm, Fastpass+ is no longer available & generally is not needed as the number of people inside the park has dropped significantly! ( One of our main reasons for enjoying this event so much!) Below is a map of the park at Magic Kingdom for the Disney Halloween Party.
The beauty of everything Disney is that the experience is wonderful for all included, no matter the age. From the amazing parades, shows, character meet ‘n greets, and rides there is never a dull moment while inside the Magic Kingdom.

Personally my favorite part of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween is the decor and feel around the actual park. With fall Mickey wreaths on every corner, the castle lit up at night from the different shows and the costumes around the park, worn by both guests and cast members. It is everything you love about Halloween!
The fireworks through out the entire evening were spectacular and seem to impress each time, but definitely were show stopping as the night grew darker.
HML Hubby & Baby boy LOVED the fireworks!
The rides were as always fantastic, Seven Dwarfs was by the far the favorite for this HML Family , and with normally HUGE lines of more then a 60 minute wait, on this night there was no more than a 10 minute wait in ANY of the lines through out the park.
Overall this Disney filled HML Family vacation was a winner all the way around! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween went down with a 5 year old and 2 year old as “Best Day/Night Ever”. Would and will happily do this again, as long as both my kiddies still enjoy the fun of Disney! ( Something tells me the Magic in the Magic Kingdom works on everyone of all ages and backgrounds)!!!
